'In urban spaces of all scales, ordinary and consequential events take place that are interwoven, altering the lives of individuals, the social conventions, the political agreements, and the cultural expressions that shape public space. These dynamics occur in environments often marked by the uncertainty, precariousness, and absence of effective political measures that address social deterioration. The exponentially increased violence in the territories disputed by organized crime since the beginning of the war against drug trafficking in 2006, which gradually affected the entire country, has disrupted the perception of our spaces for coexistence. The excessive accumulation of disappearances and murders has generated a collective stupor in which one runs the risk of giving in to impotence and allowing the saturation of outrage and horror to turn into indifference.
