The shape of the neck and the s in small buttons are characteristic of Teotihuacan pots while the body takes on the unusual appearance of the "patojo". The surface has been burnished with effort to give it a strong shine. The same motif is repeated three time painted in red, and after the firing, it was outlined with a fine incision. This is the so-called trilobulate that refers to the drops of blood, and whose meaning is underlined by the color.

This motif is usually accompanied by a mural painting and the ceramics of the cut heart or the curved knife in clear allusion to the human sacrifice that was practiced in the great metropolis.
