Arm chair produced in the neo-colonial era. These types of furniture are always very problematic as the vast majority of those that have reached our era have been copied from a typology that had great success throughout the Spanish empire, and has been reproduced to satiety both in Spain and among the ancient vice-royals. A carved decoration is noted, in some cases very naive, which is inscribed on the horror vacui (horror of emptiness), due to pseudo-vice-royal repertoires mixed with different times. The leathers of the seat and the back do not correctly attach to the main parts of the furniture, and the circular motifs, stars and bronze studs seem to have not been made serially.
