The unique form of the kidney-shaped bowl is present in different types of recipients from the Tlatilco culture. In this case, it is the White Ixta type which is characterized by its thick white fugitive engobe, which evolved from another white of the previous period with a better surface and shine. It is often accompanied with the simple but very characteristic motif of the double broken line, which belongs to modified Olmec style from the Manantial phase. Surface wear seems to have partially erased this motif on this recipient. The whiteness of the container and the simplicity of the incised line enphasize the elegance of the shape.
